Swarming Events

Termites are cryptic insects, and it can be difficult to locate a colony. The only time of the year termites can be found easily is during the dispersal flight season (swarming events).

Seasonal Swarming

Swarming season can be species-dependent. Here is an example of the seasonal swarming activity of some Florida species (Red=high activity, Yellow=medium activity, White=low to no activity).
