Projects: Visit our online bicycle route planners for Palm-Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade Counties, which have been co-developed with FIU's GIS-RS center. Awards and scholarly activities: I am a recipient of a University Term Professorship award for 2017-2020. I received a 2019 NACTA (North American Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture) Excellence in Teaching and Learning with Technology Award and a 2014 NACTA Teacher Fellow Award as well as the 2011 Professional Award from the Florida region of the American Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing. I am on the editorial board of the Journal of Location Based Services, the ISPRS International Journal of Geo-Information, and GI_Forum.
