Survey Earth Day Participation

On June 21st (day of the summer solstice), the FLREC Geomatics program collected geodetic grade GPS data for participation in Survey Earth in a Day 2.0. This day is commemorated by geospatial professionals around the world and members of Land Surveyors United (a global support network for land surveyors) who simultaneously recorded survey grade GPS data from thousands of points around the globe, in order to gain a more accurate understanding of the earth’s surface.
