On January 14th, UF Geomatics hosted a 6 credit FSMS continuing education course entitled “Boundaries in Florida.”

This seminar acquainted attendees with the history of land ownership and case law that impacts boundary surveying in Florida.

Attendees were educated on the history of land ownership in Florida, descriptions, evidence to be considered in performing boundary surveys and a discussion of relevant case law in Florida.

Presenter Bio:

Leo Mills, PSM, President of Leo Mills & Associates, Inc. a company providing land surveying services in central Florida since 1963. Employed by this firm since 1972. Registered as a licensed surveyor in 1979. Present position entails coordination of surveying services for office personnel and field crews, computation and certification of final survey plats, client relations, contracts, proposals and presentations.
