Broward County GIS Users Group Meeting – 7/25

Keary Cunningham, a UF Geomatics MS student, and Ian Windt, Keary’s colleague at the City of Fort Lauderdale, will be presenting at the upcoming Broward County GIS Users Group meeting on 7/25/12.

Abstract: Many municipalities face the challenges of delivering GIS services with limited staff and budgetary constraints.  A growing demand from the public to gain access to government information intensifies the challenges.  Today’s constituents seek quick access to information on the web and on mobile devices.  The City of Fort Lauderdale GIS Division has embraced ESRI templates as a solution to assist in overcoming these challenges.  Fort Lauderdale GIS will share its experience with implementing these templates and discuss their benefits.
