Dr. Kimberly Moore

Professor, Sustainable Plant Management, Environmental Horticulture Department

LDr. Moore teaches four online undergraduate courses for the Environmental Horticulture program (Introductory Nursery Management, Nutritional Management of Nursery Crops, Plant Science Capstone, and Elementary Organic and Biological Chemistry).  She also teaches two online graduate courses (Greenhouse and Nursery Crop Culture and Advanced Nutritional Management).  Dr. Moore’s research focuses on the use of alternative growing substrates (like compost) and alternative water sources (reclaimed waste water) to grow containerized ornamental plants.  She also has been working on the effects of salt water intrusion on the growth of containerized plants.  Dr. Moore also manages a small trial garden at the UF FLREC.
