Certificate Programs
In an effort to more effectively promote courses taught at the satellite campuses in the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at the University of Florida, certificate programs in Urban Entomology, Lawn and Ornamental Pest Management, Gardening in Florida and Environmental Turfgrass Management have been established by the FLREC.
These programs are not to be confused with certification programs. Each certificate will be a combination of four courses (11 - 15 credit hours). A minimum GPA of 2.0 is required.
The certificate will state that the student has completed selected course work in a defined area. The student will have an official University of Florida transcript and will be expected to meet the same prerequisites and requirements as degree-seeking students.
